I grew up in South Dakota on a farm and never thought I'd live in Arizona! I love the sunshine and hiking in the mountains. I enjoy horses, reading, beaches and not cooking.
I graduated from Concordia College as a Biology & Chemistry Teacher. I taught for a few years and then made the leap to Corporate in Information Technology (IT) with Andersen Consulting/Accenture. In 1999, I started my own IT Consulting Business, eLucid Consulting.
From 2002-2013, I decided to stay home with my children - hardest job I've ever had and hardest transition I've ever made.
Over those next 10 years, I seemed to GAIN and LOSE everything imaginable…
-sense of purpose -friendships
Then I remembered, I used to laugh more. I used to have more energy and actually want to do things. I may have even been fun to hang around? I wanted to be that person again. I wanted my husband, my kids, and my friends to have that person back. Where did she go? I went on a mission to find her. I didn't really know where to start but I knew it had something to do with horses.
Any of this sound familiar? I've wrapped up all that experience and passion into my life coaching practice. I am in an ICF Certified Life and Equine Coaching Program.
If you don't want to miss a moment of your awesome kiddos but also have come to that place where you realize you GET to take care of yourself too, it's time for us to talk.
When we talk, my promise is that you will be heard. We'll discuss the big picture and get to the heart of the matter. The horses and I will hold the mirror up to remind you how creative and resourceful you truly are.
I don't have all your answers but I'm confident that you do. Given some space and time, you will make the next right decision for your life. People used to tell me to take some 'me' time. I didn't even know what that would look like! What would I do? Maybe you know what your "me" time would look like but you don't know how to make it happen or how to incorporate it into your busy life.
Together we'll figure out what you want and make it possible! We'll align your gifts and your passion in a way that not only fits into your life but enriches your life in ways everyone around your will notice.
I am present, grateful and thriving in this "brutiful" season we call Motherhood! If you are a mom, you realize how many 'mom hours' it may have taken for me to get to this place!
Motherhood is brutal because it's just plain hard even though there's no place I'd rather be. And beautiful because it's allowed me to combine my gifts and my passion to do something that fulfills me and makes me a better person.
I am a wife to Chad and Mom to Olivia (13) and Emma (11). We lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota until making the trek to Phoenix in 2014 with our dog and two cats - scratch the cats in '15 due to coyotes :(.
